ICT WORKSHOPS:
INTEL GETTING STARTED
This workshop was specially designed and conducted for ICT teachers as they would be teaching Intel curriculum to the students in the near future. This workshop was used as a platform to offer professional development opportunity to teachers with advance and no computer skills to acquire technology literacy skills and an introduction to how to develop 21st century approaches to teaching and learning. The course modules were designed to help the teachers gain a better understanding of 21st century skills and project approaches, which include student centered instruction, critical thinking, collaboration and facilitation. The goal of this workshop was to have the teachers use these skills and approaches in their classroom.
Intel Principal HANDs On
The objective of the workshop is to initiate and promote the use of computers in those who are placed in strategic places thus ensuring a better and effectively run establishment. Specifically the workshop was designed to enable the participants to become familiar with the necessary computer skills required to run an effective office. This workshop is an opportunity for the branch heads to develop themselves professionally to become innovative learners and critical thinkers. Main highlights of this workshop Tutorials on windows, basics of computer & searching the internet, Teaming principals The second phase of the program involves Showcasing Multimedia , Showcasing Spreadsheet productivity tools Action Planning .
