Admissions Criteria

A minimum of 5 passes is required including a miminum of grade C in English and Mathematics in 'O' level or 'IGCSE' level examinations to be eligible for admissions into the A level programme at Roots College International. For students from Matric stream, a minimum of overall 'A' grade or 80% marks are required to be eligible for admission into the A Level programme at Roots College International.

Resources & Approach

Rigorous six months paper solving exercise is conducted to expose the students to the vast variety of paper solving techniques and approaches.

All papers, answer sheets and photocopied material is issued to the students throughout the term by the dedicated AS & A level academic co-ordinator. Moreover the AS & A level academic co-ordinator is also responsible for day to day management and deliery of the A level scheme of studies and thus encourgaes effective coordination, support, teaching and career counselling thoughout the term.

Instant photocopying facility is available in each campus of RCI.

Complete prescribed apparatus for the science subjects i.e. Biology, Physics & Chemistry is available in the lab. Science subject specialists along with the lab assistants are fully responsible for the completion of science practicals as per standard of international examination.

The laboratory equipment has been approved by the above listed universities before granting affiliation.

Roots school has been registered with both the universities for offering Computer Studies as a separate identity to it's students in 'O' & 'A' Level .

SCHOLARSHIP POLICY

Full scholarship is awarded to a student securing St. 9 A's in 'O' or 'IGCSE' level

50% scholarship is awarded to a student securing st. 8 A's in 'O' or 'IGCSE' level

SAT, TOEFL & GMAT EXAMINATION

SAT, TOEFL and GMAT classes are organised as per requirements of the students.
Recommendations and career counselling sessions are organised by the school to the students desiring admission in national and international universities as per their requirement to facilitate their admission in the prestigious higher learning institutions around the world.
