Rootsians Enthusiastically Participate in hundreds in World Wetlands Day Celebrations on February 2nd, 2012

Roots School System winner of National Environmental Excellence Award 2010 & 2011 (for consecutive 2 Years) has been in the forefront in all Wetlands awareness programme initiated by the Federal Ministry of Environment & WWF- Pakistan since its launching. This year again Roots students flocked the venue Islamabad College for Girls ICG F-6/1 Islamabad in hundreds representing all branches and participated in the Art Competition , Story Writing Competition & Poetry Competition. Young students came up with innovative ideas & slogans to protect the wetlands of Pakistan.

Students of the Roots School System DHA –I campus, joined hands to raise awareness among young people about protecting environment in order to make Pakistan greener & cleaner by organizing a megs three- day Environment Expo 2011 on 24th November 2011 at PC Hotel Rawalpindi.

Roots OLYMPIAD 2011:

Roots Olympiad 2011 held from 24th Nov to 26th Nov at Mirpur  Campus. It was the first of its kind in Mirpur where a large number of students from other schools enthusiastically participated and enjoyed.

RIMP is pleased to announce the final results of our TALENT HUNT National Drawing Competition. The panel of judges were invited to select best five entries out of 400 entries from 26 branches.
We also want to congratulate all of the students, teachers, branch heads who participated in this Nationwide competition. We received many outstanding drawings in which children’s sense of wonder, creativity and delight was evident.

Shaukat Khanum Hospital launched its Tiger’s Club in RSS. They started with Lahore and Launched the club in Lahore branch (4-C Model Town). click here

Roots School System got the HONOR AWARD for outstanding participation. The prize distribution ceremony was held in Lahore and RSS Branch 4-C Model Town performed a heart rendering musical play on the theme “Heal the World” in the ceremony.

Roots brilliance spark in INTERNATONAL KANGAROO MATHEMATICS CONTEST (IKMC)2010. Roots students clinch 108 Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals.

4 Gold Medals - 15 Silver Medals - 89 Bronze Medals

. 1180 students appeared from RSS Nationwide Branches
. 11462 contestants appeared from all over Pakistan
. Roots students score 100 % pass percentage
. RSS students are amongst the first 100 winners in the IKMC 2010
. Maximum students are amongst the top 20 scorers

Green School Tableau Competition 2010

Ministry of Environment held a Tableau competition on 26th May 2010 at OPF Girls College F-8/4 Islamabad.

Roots Junior School F-10/4 islamabad has got 2nd position in the competition and Roots School System 38 NDR F-8/4 Islamabad has got 3rd position in this competition. Altogether 30 young and energetic students participated in this competition.

ACHIEVMENT:

ACHIEVEMENT: Roots School System F-8/4 Islamabad won 2nd award cash prize in Green School Awards 2010 on World Environmental Day on 5th June 2010 at PNCA Islamabad. The school was awarded by 50,000 cash prize and a computer system. In the Tableau competition RSS F-10/4 won the 2nd position and a cash prize of 30,000.

SDPI Poster Competition "The GREEN Generation"

RSS student of 36 NDR F-7/1 "Malik Ammar Khawar" has won 1st prize in SDPI Poster Competition in the age category of 15-25

RSS student of Adiala Branch Rawalpindi "Fasih Ahmed" has also won 1st prize in the same competition in the age category of 12-17.
